Britain’s Population Replacement Is A Warning For Canada

This year the British monarch issued a public message marking the Muslim celebrations of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, while Easter was no longer accompanied by a special royal address. Only a brief greeting on behalf of the royal family was published for this important Christian holiday.

This pattern in the king’s addresses to his subjects reflects not only the increased demographic and political weight of the Muslim community, but also a clear setting of priorities in appeasement of the millions-strong Muslim population of Britain.

Britain’s last statesman, Enoch Powell, warned decades ago, in 1968, of the consequence for Britain of mass immigration from Commonwealth countries with the following words:

“The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils. In seeking to do so, it encounters obstacles which are deeply rooted in human nature.

As time goes on, the proportion of this total who are immigrant descendants and born in England will rapidly increase. . . . . . . . . It is this fact above all which creates the extreme urgency of action now, of just that kind of action which is hardest for politicians to take, action where the difficulties lie in the present but the evils to be prevented or minimized lie several parliaments ahead.

Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad. We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation to be permitting the annual inflow of some 50,000 dependants, who are for the most part the material of the future growth of the immigrant-descended population. It is like watching a nation busily engaged in heaping up its own funeral pyre. So insane are we that we actually permit unmarried persons to immigrate for the purpose of founding a family with spouses and fiancées whom they have never seen.”

“Manchester, the first industrial city in world history and a symbol of the Industrial Revolution, likewise experienced a precipitous decline in its native population starting in the 21st century. If in 1971 Manchester was 95.8% white, by 2021 only 48.7% were British and Irish; a further 8.1% of residents were migrants of European origin.”

“The greatest degree of “ethnic diversity” has been reached in the UK capital, where in the 2021 census nearly two‑thirds of residents identified as members of ethnic minorities, and the share of White British among newborns had already fallen to 21%. There are London boroughs where the share of the white British and Irish population has dropped from 97% to 15% over 60 years.”

“Another obvious effect is rising crime. Today, the UK records a higher crime rate than historical records indicate – something that would have been unimaginable a few decades ago in a prosperous and safe Europe. In 2023, England and Wales registered 273,076 burglaries – more than in France, which tops the list of European countries by crime index.

A vivid manifestation of the new quality of the criminal situation and social distress has been an unprecedented problem for the British state: a shortage of prison places. The parties alternating in power harshly blame each other for failing to find a solution and have successively reduced the portion of a prison term that must be served before offenders can be released, in order to free up scarce prison space. Powell gained overwhelming support from the public, receiving over 43,000 letters and 700 telegrams of support which overloaded Wolverhampton’s postal system. Only 4 telegrams and 800 letters expressed a form of hostility to him or his message.

Despite such overwhelming public support, Enoch Powell’s warning was shunned by the British ruling class and he was expelled from the Opposition leader Edward Heath’s shadow cabinet. And now Britain’s population replacement has passed the point of no return to the point that the monarch feels obliged to send a special message on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Muslim celebration of the end of Ramadan, and ignore the annual Easter message.

To document the current sorry state of once-mighty Britain, we now have the gruesome murder of Henry Nowak, who was intercepted on the way to his residence by Vickrum Singh Digwa a 23-year-old Sikh carrying a lethal dagger with an apparent 8-inch blade on his belt claiming that his religion required it. Digwa tried to steal Nowak’s cell phone that he was carrying in his hands. When Nowak tried to get his phone back he was stabbed five times by the Sikh with the large blade, including one stab through his heart. As he lay on the ground dying the police arrived whereupon they were falsely told by Digwa that he had been the subject of a racial “attack”. The police believed him despite the fact that he was still holding the blood-stained dagger.

Bodycam footage showed officers handcuffing Nowak, who was lying on the ground and repeatedly telling them he had been stabbed and could not breathe. One officer responded: “Don’t think you have, mate.”

Soon after Nowak lost consciousness and died. Such is the current state of Britain with a two-tier justice system where the ethnics have priority over the Anglo-Saxon population.

Police reportedly also found a cache of more than 20 weapons at Digwa’s family home, including flick knives, knuckledusters, swords, a machete, an extendable baton, an axe, and an air rifle.

More shocking than this tragic murder has been the dishonest and dishonourable response of Starmer in the British House of Commons in response to Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage’s legitimate expression of anger over the tragedy. Rather than honourably acknowledging the tragedy and stating that his government will take effective action to ensure equal treatment of all before the law, Starmer accused Nigel Farage of racism and spreading hatred.

This British state of affairs is a strong warning for the Canadian leadership.

Prime Minister Mark Carney’s reduction of annual immigration from Justin Trudeau’s planned 500,000 to 380,000 is cosmetic in nature and does little to reduce the burden of mass immigration on the people of Canada – overcrowding of cities, housing shortage, pressure on public services such as healthcare and educational services and so on. In addition there is a rise of crimes especially in areas such as the lower mainland of British Columbia and the Greater Toronto Area.

A rational immigration policy would allow only some 120,000 carefully selected immigrants annually strictly based on their qualifications to contribute to Canada socially and economically.

And to end birth tourism whereby hundreds, perhaps thousands of pregnant women travel to Canada annually to give birth and have their children automatically become Canadian citizens:

Clause 3 (1) of Citizenship Act should be revised to read:

“3 (1) Subject to this Act, a person is a citizen if (a) the person was born in Canada after February 14, 1977, and at the time of his birth his birth mother was a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.”

Clauses 12 (1), (3), and 13 (1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act should be repealed and replaced with the following:

“All immigration and refugee applicants and family reunification and sponsored applicants must be selected strictly on the basis of the individual merit system in effect at the time of their application.”

The above measures are necessary if Canada’s trajectory of population replacement is to be halted. The sad fate of Britain should be a lesson for Canada.
